Sometimes we just need to listen to voices other than ourselves and see others’ story of creative processes so we can squeeze out those creative juices. Learning about design, even after you’ve graduated, especially even more then, is one of the best things you can do for yourself.

Sagmeister & Walsh, anyone? That iconic & logo? Check them out, their works are always creative and bold. I’ve been a fan of the other business-half, Walsh, since secondary school but this is my first time acquainting with Sagmeister and I must say I’m inspired. I discovered our office’s book stash and chanced upon a design book by Stefan Sagmeister. Personal development + “company research” = score. Two down, I have free time which necessitates for me to look busy. This means - two across - that I usually finish my job earlier than the time allocated for it.

Two up - I’m new and I have the energy so I like to work fast and efficient. So I tell myself, go ahead and brave that conversation. One up - every person you will ever meet knows something you don’t know. One down - I’m painfully shy so any small talk throws me into a panic. Like crossword I constantly have to solve. Being the youngest person in the office has it upside and downside.
